Electrical Project Manager – Data Centre – Sines, Portugal

Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector. We are currently constructing multiple Turnkey Data Centre Projects across Europe, equating to over 500 MW of IT load in flight.
We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team. This position will be based on-site in Sines, Portugal.

Responsibilities

•   Electrical Package Management
Take full ownership of the electrical scope, including LV/HV systems, power distribution, UPS, generators, containment and earthing, ensuring delivery in line with programme and technical requirements.
•   Programme, Cost & Change Control
Manage electrical works against agreed schedules and budgets, monitoring progress, identifying risks, and controlling variations in coordination with commercial and planning teams.
•   Subcontractor & Site Coordination
Lead and coordinate electrical subcontractors and suppliers, chair progress meetings, review method statements, and ensure safe, efficient execution of works on site.
•   Quality Assurance & Commissioning
Oversee quality control, inspections and testing of electrical installations; support commissioning, integrated systems testing (IST) and final handover to meet data centre operational standards.
•   Health, Safety & Compliance Leadership
Drive high HSE standards across all electrical activities, ensuring compliance with Portuguese regulations, project specifications and main contractor procedures.

Requirements

Must have relevant degree level qualifications i.e. Electrical Engineering or similar
Must have 8+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects (Preferably Data Centres)
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Portugal
